Game recap: Rossville High School Football Team bests St. Marys

ST. MARYS, Kan. - Rossville (Kan.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat St. Marys (Kan.), 39-0, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Bulldogs led 19-0 at the half.

Rossville expanded its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.

With the win the Bulldogs extended their winning streak to nine games. Rossville defeated Council Grove 48-0 last week.

Rossville went into the matchup giving up only 10.1 points per game.



A 49-36 Rossville victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The defeat comes as a step back for St. Marys, who notched a 37-0 victory over Mission Valley in its previous outing.
