Basketball Game Preview: St. Helens Lions vs. Tillamook Cheesemakers

St. Helens and Tillamook are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The St. Helens Lions will take on the Tillamook Cheesemakers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Helens will be strutting in after a victory while Tillamook will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Helens will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Astoria, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. St. Helens walked away with a 64-54 win over Astoria on Friday.

Meanwhile, Tillamook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to Seaside.

St. Helens is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Tillamook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

St. Helens strolled past Tillamook in their previous meeting on January 10th by a score of 63-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Helens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
