Softball Recap: Central Wins Going Away Against Times Squared Academy

Central won against Juanita Sanchez Complex on Wednesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Times Squared Academy Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Central got a massive performance out of Janet Batista, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Michelle Kammavongsa, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Times Squared Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
