Basketball Recap: Cedar Bluffs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elba last Friday, Cedar Bluffs came back down to earth. The Cedar Bluffs Wildcats had to suffer through a 55-24 loss at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Despite the defeat, Cedar Bluffs saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carter Eiring posted nine points and five boards.

Cedar Bluffs' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Cornerstone Christian School, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Cedar Bluffs has already played their next matchup (against Heartland Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cornerstone Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against Whiting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
