Soccer Recap: Blythewood's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After flying high against Westwood last Tuesday, Blythewood came back down to earth. Blythewood fell just short of the Lexington Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Blythewood couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Mia Hendry, who's now up to three this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Blythewood fell to 5-1-1. As for Lexington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Blythewood wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Spring Valley on the 14th. As for Lexington, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Irmo on the 14th.
