Volleyball Recap: Laguna Beach Takes a Loss

Laguna Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tesoro Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Laguna Beach's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tesoro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Laguna Beach has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Huntington Beach on the 5th. As for Tesoro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Notre Dame on the 5th.
