Highlands had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Scott Eagles by a score of 7-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 two weeks ago.

Brooks Hendrix was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Julian Hankins also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Highlands' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Scott, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Highlands beat the Eagles by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday.
