Soccer Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

The Taylor Ducks didn't have quite enough to beat the Alief Hastings Bears on Friday and fell 2-1.

Taylor's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for Alief Hastings, they moved to 7-12-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Alief Hastings wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Alief Taylor on the 20th. Hopefully Taylor paid attention to the Bears' contest: the next time they hit the pitch , they'll take on the Bears at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
