Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eau Claire). They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Fairfield Central Griffins on Thursday. It was an even better day for Dylane Avila as he scored four goals for his team.

The victory made it two in a row for Eau Claire and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Fairfield Central, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
