Football Recap: Ithaca Comes Up Short

After flying high against Binghamton last Friday, Ithaca came back down to earth. The Little Red took a 28-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Susquehanna Valley Sabers on Friday.

Ithaca has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Susquehanna Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ithaca will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Corning-Painted Post at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Susquehanna Valley, they will square off against Windsor Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
