Softball Recap: North Thurston Comes Up Short

North Thurston lost against Central Kitsap back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Central Kitsap, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

North Thurston will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Capital at 4:00 p.m. As for Central Kitsap, they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Abes have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
