Basketball Recap: Joel Hunt Key Part of a Team Effort in Greyhounds Win

KIPP Bold City's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 53-45 win over the Patel Trailblazers. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Trailblazers are ranked 671st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

KIPP Bold City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joel Hunt led the charge by going 5 for 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Hunt is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Mikell Reddick was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
