Baseball Recap: King's Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

King's Academy had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the William Blount Governors on Tuesday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 win the Governors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

King's Academy's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

King's Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for William Blount, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King's Academy will face off against Webb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for William Blount, they will head out on the road to challenge Christian Academy of Knoxville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
