Basketball Recap: Cypress Woods' Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

It was a proper cat-fight when Cypress Woods duked it out with Carroll on Friday. The Wildcats managed a 46-42 win over the Tigers. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Tigers are ranked 706th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to take on King at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.72 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
