It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mexico ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Moberly Spartans by a score of 8-4. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Landon Hilderman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Kaden Benne was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mexico's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Moberly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 23-7.

Mexico wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Fatima on the 10th. As for Moberly, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against North Callaway on the 9th.
