Volleyball Recap: Hollywood Comes Up Short

If Hollywood was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Contreras last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sheiks came up short against the Bernstein Dragons on Monday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Sheiks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17, 25-10.

Hollywood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bernstein, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hollywood is set to square off against their familiar foe Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bernstein will challenge rival Roybal at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
