Football Recap: Chestnut Ridge Lions vs. Tussey Mountain Titans
It's playoff time, and Chestnut Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Tussey Mountain Titans by a score of 22-10 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Titans are ranked 381st).

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jayden Imler and Cooper Barefoot. Imler rushed for 106 yards and a pair of scores while Barefoot rushed for 50 yards and one TD. Imler is becoming a predictor of Chestnut Ridge's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-6 when he doesn't).
Chestnut Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
