Volleyball Recap: Philo Electrics vs. Crooksville Ceramics
Philo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crooksville Ceramics. The Electrics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ceramics apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Philo took a 1-0 lead headed into the second set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.
Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Crooksville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Philo will be playing in front of their home fans against Maysville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crooksville, they will square off against Federal Hocking at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
