Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights.

Hadley Matthews paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up nine kills. Matthews were helped by Mattie Kline and Ella Lesslie, who contributed eight assists each. Susanna Ahl controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

North Raleigh Christian Academy was led to victory by Brea Lindstrom and Carrington Lynn. Lindstrom had nine digs, while Lynn had eight digs and two aces.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Rock Hill has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Asheville on the 16th. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Wake Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
