Basketball Recap: Custer County Comes Up Short

Custer County came up into this matchup off a tough 29-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Vail Christian Saints by a score of 28-26 on Wednesday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Custer County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Vail Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Custer County will square off against Sargent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sargent will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Custer County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vail Christian, they will take on North Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
