Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Wayne County's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Wayne County barely beat Collinwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Trojans on Thursday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.

Logan Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Wayne County got a massive performance out of Jacan Floyd, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brady Stooksberry, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
