Football Recap: Roosevelt Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Streetsboro, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ellet Orangemen with a sharp 40-20 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rough Riders considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Roosevelt's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Ellet, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will welcome Revere at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Rough Riders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Ellet, they will take on Alliance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
