Marcus Meras Turns in Season-Best Effort

Marcus Meras produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sutter to the win on Friday. Meras rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.

Meras and Sutter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Casa Roble at 7:15 p.m. on November 1st. The game will pit Meras up against the Rams' star RB Braylen Blevins. Will the match be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Blevins Made His Presence Known in Casa Roble's 44-20 Win

Braylen Blevins posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 175 yards while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Dixon's probably not too fond of Blevins given he always seems to get the better of them. Blevins rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and Dixon duked it out back in October of 2023.
