Ashville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lydia Northam paced Ashville's offense, picking up eight kills. Northam got some help from Ryleigh Cothran and her 14 assists. Evelyn Dole controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ashville's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Ashville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Piedmont on the 20th. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will challenge Victory Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
