Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Liberty had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Timberland T-Wolves by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

Liberty was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 16-25, 25-20, 25-14.

James Siterlet paced Liberty's offense, picking up 22 kills. Siterlet got some help from Logan Hinds and his 21 assists. Hinds was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Liberty now has a winning record of 16-15-1. As for Timberland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timberland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Warrenton on the 9th.
