Baseball Recap: Navarro Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Navarro got themselves on the board against Canyon Lake on Tuesday, but Canyon Lake never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out Canyon Lake 2-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with Canyon Lake recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Colt Brown, who gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Canyon Lake off the board. Brown has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Elijah Farley was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Noah Rosas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Navarro's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs across that stretch. As for Canyon Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-7-1 record this season.

Navarro will have a chance to go back-to-back against Canyon Lake: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
