Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast Lauderdale). They walked away with a 17-14 victory over the Noxapater Tigers on Friday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Northeast Lauderdale pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Noxapater, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Lauderdale will venture away from home to challenge West Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Noxapater, they will take on Nanih Waiya at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nanih Waiya will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Noxapater surely won't give up without a fight.
