East extended their postseason success on Saturday against Liberal. They walked away with a 68-57 victory over the Liberal Redskins. The win was familiar territory for the Aces, who have now won five matchups in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Liberal lost, don't look at Shamari Lewis. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 17 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance also gave Lewis a new career-high in assists (eight). Maliyah Mullens was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

East's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Liberal, they moved to 15-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-30 defeat against Derby on the 13th. Liberal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
