Austin Klein of Manchester ran for the longest rushing play in Principals this season against Black River last week. Klein's team defeated the Pirates as he sprinted for 79 yards on the play and finished with 142 in all.

Manchester scaled the state rankings by moving to 157 from 237 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Jim France's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating Black River 56-13.

Parker Carmichael threw for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 28-39 with 1 interceptions.

Carmichael put up the best numbers in passing as Triway beat Waynedale. Carmichael's favorite target this week was Dillon Kopp, who caught 4 passes for 90 yards.

Gage Lau was a key player and the best on defense this week as Tuslaw beat Chippewa. The 5-foot-9 junior.

Andrew Schauer was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 199 yards on 27 carries as Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy defeated Al Young's team. Teammate Marty Lee added to the ground attack by rushing for 23 yards.

Hoxworth was the best receiver in Principals this week as Manchester bested the Pirates. Hoxworth racked up 3 receptions for 122 yards. Bobby Bowen helped Manchester's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 63 yards.

6-foot-4 quarterback hunter wells of Fairless is the league leader in passing yards this season with 829. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Graham Miller. The Tuslaw star has 24 catches for 310 yards.

The Falcons' offense has scored 132 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Panthers have allowed only 38 on the year.

One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Fairless and Manchester face off next week.

As it stands, the Panthers are in second, while Don Wilson's team is in fourth.

The league will see a high scoring game when Manchester and the Falcons face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 94 this season, while Fairless has scored 132. Manchester scored 56 points last week as it beat Black River.

The Panthers took down the Pirates 56-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Pavin Parks threw for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
