Basketball Recap: Kearny Comes Up Short

Kearny won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Memorial Tigers an easy 66-40 victory. The Kardinals haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Memorial, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kearny and Bard will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Memorial, they will square off against Bergenfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
