Athenian posted their biggest win since December 5, 2024 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over the College Prep Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Owls also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Athenian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Patleo Koffi, who posted 19 points. Koffi continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ali Algaal was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Athenian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

Athenian has already played their next game, a 79-32 victory against Oakland Military Institute on the 21st. As for College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-35 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 22nd.
