Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland lost against Cleburne County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Woodland Bobcats came up short against the Cleburne County Tigers, falling 12-1. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Brasher, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cleburne County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Woodland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Wadley on the 25th. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
