It was a good run, but McConnellsburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Fannett Metal by a score of 7-6. McConnellsburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fannett Metal apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
