Recap: Douglas Bulldogs vs. Pueblo Warriors
The Douglas Bulldogs lost to the Pueblo Warriors back in December of 2022, but the Douglas Bulldogs didn't allow the Pueblo Warriors the same satisfaction on Monday. Douglas walked away with a 47-35 win over Pueblo.
Defeat or not, Pueblo got some senior leadership from David Hernandez who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals and Jorge Franco who scored 9 points along with 13 rebounds and 4 steals. Hernandez scored a full 60% of Pueblo's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The victory got Douglas back to even at 3-3. As for Pueblo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Douglas will take on Nogales at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pueblo, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m.
