Soccer Recap: Elkhorn Comes Up Short

Elkhorn managed to slip by New Berlin Eisenhower the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Elks came up short against the Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. Elkhorn have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-2. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4-2.

Coming up, Elkhorn will be playing in front of their home fans against Beloit Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhorn will need to watch out since Beloit Memorial have now posted at least four goals in their last seven matches. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitnall at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
