Football Recap: Teton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Teton fought the good fight in their overtime game against South Fremont on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to the Cougars. The Timberwolves gained 111 more yards on the day, but it was the Cougars that made the best use of them.

Teton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Moss, who picked up 162 receiving yards and one touchdown. Moss got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 82 yards. Canon Kunz also helped out as he racked up 100 receiving yards.

South Fremont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cy Hill, who threw for 144 yards and one TD, and also punched in one rushing score.

Teton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for South Fremont, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Looking ahead, Teton will host Sugar-Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Diggers' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Timberwolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. South Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
