Basketball Game Preview: Nevada Union Miners vs. Roseville Tigers

The Nevada Union Miners will face off against the Roseville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Nevada Union's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.

Last Thursday, Nevada Union was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-57 to Twelve Bridges.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Roseville duked it out withDel Campo on Thursday. Roseville strolled past Del Campo with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Roseville's win came from a few key players Nevada Union will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Oreste Yong, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Tyler Ritter, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Roseville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive games.

Roseville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Nevada Union, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
