Softball Game Preview: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Hardee Wildcats

The Parrish Community Bulls will head out to take on the Hardee Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardee took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Parrish Community, who comes in off a win.

While Bulls fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They put the hurt on Lakewood Ranch with a sharp 7-1 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulls, who have now won 12 matches in a row dating back to last season.

Sophia Mandarine tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Alysa Jones was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Mackenzie Pandelo was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Hardee lost 13-3 to Lake Placid on Friday.

Parrish Community skirted past Hardee 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Will Parrish Community repeat their success, or does Hardee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
