Volleyball Recap: Piper Medlin and Avi Bellah Secure Win for Marionville

Marionville waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Greenfield Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Leading Marionville to victory were Avi Bellah and Piper Medlin. Bellah had 13 digs, while Medlin had 13 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Medlin has posted over her last six contests.

Marionville's win bumped their record up to 14-11-3. As for Greenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8-3.

Coincidentally, Marionville and Greenfield will both be playing Lockwood the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
