Soccer Recap: Scituate Plays to a Tie

The Scituate Spartans and the Mt. Hope Huskies finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Scituate's goal came courtesy of Jason Bettez, who's now up to three this season.

With that draw, Scituate's record moves to 2-0-2. Meanwhile, Mt. Hope's record is now 2-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scituate will square off against rival East Greenwich at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Hope is set to face off against their familiar foe North Providence at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Mt. Hope their first taste of in-conference action this season.
