Basketball Recap: Lucas Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lucas Christian Academy lost against Newman International Academy back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors and the Newman International Academy Warriors didn't end well, with the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors falling 40-26.

Lucas Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Newman International Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Lucas Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Newman International Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Covenant at 7:30 p.m.
