Basketball Recap: John F. Kennedy's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

John F. Kennedy lost against Wickliffe back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The John F. Kennedy Fighting Eagles took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wickliffe Blue Devils. The Fighting Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, John F. Kennedy still got an impressive performance from Precious Williams, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The match was Williams' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Shatrice Wanzo-Lawrence was another key player, putting up six points and 12 boards.

John F. Kennedy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for Wickliffe, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

John F. Kennedy has already played their next game, a 57-49 win against Rhodes on the 28th. As for Wickliffe, they will host Andrews Osborne Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
