Football Recap: Brady Quinlivan and Luke Bittner Pace Mount Michael Benedictine Defense

After losing to Scotus the last time they met, Mount Michael Benedictine decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top against the Shamrocks by a score of 28-17 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Jedd Ramold was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Quinlivan, who gained 111 total yards and a touchdown.

Mount Michael Benedictine didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Quinlivan and Luke Bittner.

When it comes to explaining why Scotus lost, don't look at Thomas Settje. Despite the final result, he rushed for 130 yards and one score while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Mount Michael Benedictine's record is now 2-0. As for Scotus, their record now sits at 1-1.

Coming up, Mount Michael Benedictine will look to defend their home field on Friday against Schuyler. As for Scotus, they will head out on the road to take on Ashland-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
