Volleyball Game Preview: Jones Eagles vs. De La Salle Meteors

Jones is a perfect 4-0 against De La Salle since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will take on the Meteors at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jones is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Muchin College Prep by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, De La Salle beat Thornridge 2-0 on Tuesday.

De La Salle not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Thornridge to exactly 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Jones now has a winning record of 17-16. As for De La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Jones was able to grind out a solid victory over De La Salle in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Meteors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
