Basketball Recap: Annenberg Takes a Loss

Annenberg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Orthopaedic Vipers 53-21. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vipers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 0-0 last Monday.

Annenberg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Orthopaedic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Annenberg is facing Aspire Ollin at the right time seeing as Aspire Ollin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Orthopaedic, they will be playing at home against Central City Value at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
