Baseball Recap: Space Coast Comes Up Short

Space Coast was the 2-1 winner over Astronaut when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Vipers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles on Thursday. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Space Coast saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Constantino, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Space Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Astronaut, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Space Coast wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-2 loss against Melbourne Central Catholic on the 23rd. As for Astronaut, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-3 defeat against Titusville on the 20th.
