Basketball Recap: Chapmanville Regional Comes Up Short

Chapmanville Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 58-32 to the Sissonville Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-38 last Thursday.

Chapmanville Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Sissonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chapmanville Regional will take on Greenbrier East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenbrier East knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Chapmanville Regional likes a good challenge. As for Sissonville, they are taking a road trip to take on Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
