Basketball Recap: Ashley Takes a Loss

Ashley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Merrill Vandals 68-37. The Bears were probably out for revenge after losing 61-36 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ashley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Merrill, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashley will square off against Vestaburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Merrill, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fulton at 7:00 p.m.
