Volleyball Recap: Ana Cecilia Sautree Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Harvester Christian Academy

Harvester Christian Academy came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Holy Spirit Prep, but Robyn Omolon wouldn't allow it. The Cougars came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Omolon, who had 32 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (100-96) Holy Spirit Prep actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 15-25, 29-27, 25-23.

Holy Spirit Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ana Cecilia Sautree out in front who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave Sautree a new career-high. Maia Slinkard also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The victory got Holy Spirit Prep back to even at 8-8. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

As for Harvester Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Family Homeschool Alliance on the 18th.
