Basketball Recap: West Milford Victorious

West Milford hadn't done well against Wayne Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The West Milford Highlanders walked away with a 65-56 win over the Wayne Valley Indians. This was payback for the Highlanders, who suffered a 66-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Wayne Valley lost, don't look at Tyler Veale. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 10 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Nick D'Apolito, who posted ten points and three steals.
